Well GG kept us up last nite with a Fever. I am so sleep deprived right now that I'm not sure how long I can make this entry. I get so uncomfortable when the kids are sick and I also lose any thoughts of getting things done around the house. fortunately keeping her doped up on tylenol is breaking the fever, and keeping her satisfied with lounging on the couch and watching cartoons. I am hoping that she is only breaking Molars and not a virus.
This weekend is John's dedication at our church and I have so much to do and as fore-mentioned today is a write off. Ohhhh how I long for the day when I could read a book in the afternoon and relax with an Ice-tea. I guess I'll have to save that for retirement.

Chicken and Cashews
Last nite I went shopping for the flower girl dress for my cousin's wedding. she is part Asian, so we were at an Asian mall looking for a little Asian dress. They are truly cute! The weekend before the wedding is Baby John's dedication and Darcy's dad and wife are flying out for it. I am excited to have them here with us....I do enjoy their visits.
So I think the baby blues are really starting to kick in with me now...with Georgie I got them around the 6 month mark and now I can really feel the roller coaster of emotions. John is 3 months, so I guess it is earlier. I don't feel the overwhelming failure feelings like before, but I feel super helpless...odd how I can talk about it and know it is related to hormones...but at times it feels very real. I feel helpless in achieving my gaols for the day and at times even the hour...everything seems so overwhelming and I can't seem to figure out how to begin tackling basic things like housework or tasks for the family. I feel so much like everything is on my shoulders and I am alone....again I know the baby blues...but it feels so real. We poor women go through so much when giving birth, that is why it is so important to have the support of other women during this time...let's face it...our husbands have no idea...great intentions...but NO idea:-)

Georgie is talking so much now, I find myself getting caught in the No-Yes arguments. JJ is getting giggles now...too cute!

Mc D's Happy Meal
So feeling less soap-box-ish today. I have a family wedding coming up in September and due to mass amounts of weight that I lose with the babies, I now fit back into a dress I had made for me 10 years ago...now that in itself makes me want to wear it, however some of you may be wondering...can it be back in style? yes, you see it seems fashion has done the 10 year turn around and I actually saw dresses of this style back in the stores...I am super excited. Now I must find the shoes...to which fall pumps are out now, thus I must rummage through clearance sales to find sandals. too much stress with two kids!
Darcy and I have all these major purchases right now, that we have been *saving* for, and it is seriously feeling like Christmas. These purchases include a new 07' Mazda Mx3, 2 Leather sofa sets, Dining table, kitchen table, New fluffy bed mattress, carpet for stairs, landscaping, computer desk and entertainment unit. Crazy eh? It is actually stressing me out spending this much money because I want stuff to last...and who knows if I'll still like it in my 40's.

I found them playing together for the first time today...without mom coaxing. GG was teaching JJ patty-cake!

I admit it...I don't exactly tell my Doctor everything. You know franckly, I hate the "must-do and Only-do" attitude of raising infants. Not every kid can be raised the same way, and often us moms who use our hearts and heads with our kids and not the "books" get repremanded for being bad moms. My kid is on formula and sleeps on his tummy....he also is very healthy, normal skin and was noted by the doctor for showing signs of above average alertness. The other day my friend was reprimanded because her 2 year old still uses a pacifier...what people don't know is that if the mom took away the pacifier he would continually suck his thumb...which is worse as sores can appear in the skin due to the saliva. Ladies let's stop judging each other, cause chances are someone is going to judge you worse!
Rant over....(still hormonal)....My dad is off to Nigeria again. I hate it when he goes over there. He is an Oil man in an oppressed society...sometimes I think he should dress as an arab, then the criminals will leave him alone:-) But seriously it is so bad there, he has an armed guard cavalcade from the airport and then has to use a helicopter to and from the sites. crazy!
Well GG is beside me wanting to know why she isn't playing elmo online.......nothing is mine any more...........(but it's worth it!)

Chicken Salad
I give up....I think my home is going to look like a frat house forever. Mostly I find myself in denial, while I go to bed with a completely different picture in my head of how the house is. So all company has left and it is back to just me and the kids during the day....and of course CBC Patty...who is sometimes referred to by GG as Tia. (uncanny resemblance to Amy!).
Yesterday I had my Costco shopping to do, to which I set up my Video ipod to DORA cartoons for GG to watch in the cart while I get my list done. Sometimes, I think, "Man I am teaching her to have no self-control" and then I see another mom yelling at her toddler as he bee-lines down the freezer aisle with an unpaid book......worth it! I have started working out today....first time since the baby...and YIKES! Ladies what happens to our ab muscles? I think they were pushed out with the babies. Well, better check on the kids....now where did I last see them:-)?

NEW SESSIONS!!!
Well hello world...how are you? I am now back to posting my daily trials and tribulations of being the mother of two now....it's good...I think:-) I definitely have been spoiled with the easiest baby ever....I think he even knows how to change his own diapers!
I actually have just come back from Texas where the money I spend there pays to pave a new section of the I-45, and possible build a new public school. Seriously though I do stock up for the coming winter for the kids.....and throw in about 7 pairs of shoes for me. I have my mother-in-law visiting me from Calgary...oh it's been fun. Now the summer is half over and I still have to entertain my two year old, while carting around a 2 month old! It's fun. Here's to a new round of whining and complaining....about Darcy:-)

WEll...I'm addicted to Facebook. I have neglected my blog. ALSO I am still way to pregnant right now and my attention span is about as long as a wall-post on Facebook. Still no Baby and I will post pics as soon as this kid gets out!!!!!
